Smart World Event coming to Fribourg, Switzerland October 3rd
In cooperation with the Swiss research institute CSEM and the Alp ICT Cluster, the next Smart World Event will be hosted on Thursday, October 3rd at Au Parc Hotel in Fribourg, Switzerland.
After the welcoming notes by CSEM SA and Alp ICT, the event will be split into three focus sessions: cloud computing, wearable technologies and m2m communications, with “Smart Energy and Smart Grids” as one of the main topics.
One highlight of the Smart World Event in Fribourg will be the announcement of the Cloud Innovation World Cup, which will start October 15 and call developers to submit their innovations regarding cloud applications and solutions.
For innovators, inventors, or interested parties, the Smart World Events provide a platform to connect with like-minded, with possible new business partners, or to learn more about trends and innovations in these areas.
The half day event will be split into three sessions and feature high-level representatives from international companies, including Swisscom, Ericsson, Texas Instruments, VARTA Microbattery, Telit Wireless Solutions. In addition to CSEM, Alp ICT and EuroCloud, the event will feature innovative companies like Sixsq and Sensaris, who will be presenting “Internet of Things for Smart Building Applications”.
