NAVISPACE ORGANIZES THE NEW MEDICA CONNECTED HEALTHCARE FORUM

“Connected Healthcare” is the networking of players, processes and systems within the healthcare sector. Technology innovations are drivers and enablers for new approaches that will revolutionize tomorrow’s medical world.

In the presentations of the MEDICA CONNECTED HEALTH-CARE FORUM in hall 15 new insights, technologies and solutions for connected and mobile healthcare were presented. Multinational enterprises and innovative start-ups demonstrated the connected future.

The program started on Wednesday with the topic “Big Data and Health Systems” followed by the next generation of Wearable Technologies in the afternoon. Thursday’s focus was on Mobile Apps and Mobile Health in the morning; in the afternoon 10 of the most innovative “Healthcare Aps” of the MEDICA App COMPETITION were in the spotlight and the best App was awarded by MEDICA.

At the MEDICA CONNECTED HEALTHCARE FORUM, Björn Peters, exceet Secure Solutions, and Jaap Vossen, Swisscom, explained the benefits of machine-to-machine (M2M) and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions for medicine.
