The second ISPO Health Forum on February 5th will gather important actors from all over the world to strengthen the dialog between the sports and the healthcare sector sustainably. Representatives of the following industries will take part in this unique event: Sports retail, Sporting goods industry, Healthcare industry, Health insurance companies, ICT industry and Politics. This whole-day event taking place at ICM Internationales Congress Center München offers all attendees the opportunity for the cross-sectoral exchange of concepts, ideas and technologies to be able to open up new business potential and sales channels.
The panel discussions will be the central part of the event. In the Industry panel representatives such as Prof. Margaret Talbot (International Council of Sport Science and Physical Education Foundation), Frank Dassler (Federation of the European Sporting goods Industry), Hardy Kietzmann (Sanofi) or Klaus Jost (Intersport) will discuss cooperation opportunities fostering the Healthstyle market. Existing and future products and services will be presented by Cédric Hutchings (Withings), Horst Merkle (Continua Health Alliance), Gareth Jones (Fitbit), Stefan Herzog (Sport Scheck), Anthony Katz (Hyperice) and Ralf Lindner (Medisana) in the second panel. The third panel will discuss how individuals can be motivated to be more physically active. What can institutions and politics do? How can companies improve the health of their employees? Are there country-specific differences? These, and many more questions, will be answered by international experts from the field of Healthstyle such as Prof. Dr. Alfred Rütten (Friedrich-Alexander Universität Erlangen), Dr. Mike Evans (University of Toronto), Kathleen Tullie (BOKS – Rebuild our Kids) or Dr. Hubert Hörterer (FIS).

To present all aspects of the fusion of sports and healthcare, there will be an individual Healthstyle exhibition space in hall C1 at ISPO Munich. The three major topics will be “sports & performance”, “activity & comfort” and “body & care” with innovative products from hardware, apparel and textiles as well as accessories & services. At the Healthstyle Action Point, the 80,000 trade visitors of ISPO Munich will get a program made up of panel discussions, presentations, sports performances and a fitness program.
