Malmö, August 21 ─ Join us for the Wireless Innovation Roadshow on September 13, starting at 2 p.m. – the perfect place to learn more about machine-to-machine (M2M) communication and the fascinating world of Wearable Technologies. Participation is free of charge and open to all developers, entrepreneurs, researchers, etc. who are interested in the opportunities opening up in these fields of business.
M2M is an immensely growing market in many fields of interest such as mobility, healthcare, energy, security or consumer electronics. It stands for the automatic data transfer between technical devices of all kinds, e.g. vehicles, containers, alarm systems or power meters. Through the networking these machines via the mobile phone network, individual modules and complete systems can communicate worldwide and be monitored and maintained. If you are working on a new M2M solution you can submit it now for the M2M Challenge innovation competition – and sponsors and partners will be there to answer questions and give feedback on developments. Wearable Technologies – electronic devices that can be worn at or near the body – represent another booming market with basically endless development opportunities. Whether it is about the right ways of energy storage for these small devices, about the most suitable data transfer technologies such as Bluetooth technology, ZigBee or WiFi, or about the right sensor tools needed to measure certain kind of data. At the Wireless Innovation Roadshow industry experts will present their latest solutions for the WT and the M2M market, and you will have the chance to do high level networking.
